Life before COVID-19 meant getting together every weekend for fun and brunch and not missing out on any family events. But since social distancing should be a norm for days to come, it is wiser to #staysafe at home.
However, out of sight should not mean out of mind.
- Social distancing does not apply to a call so pick up the phone and call your loved one as often as you can.
- The elderly might feel alone, cut off and unsafe. Make sure to connect with them as often as possible and reassure them that all will be well.
- You can still have your parties – only that they will be done online now. Celebrate your happiness through video calls and Zoom parties. The best part is that this way you can also include those in different time zones, something you never had time for before.
- Sharing is caring – you can still order a bouquet, cake or other gifts and have them delivered to your loved ones. They’ll know you are still thinking about them.
