The COVID – 19 pandemic has brought about many challenges in people’s lives. Many have lost their livelihoods or have been dealing with difficulties that have come since the onset of the pandemic.
There are some things that one needs to keep in mind:
- It may feel that it is tough to survive after losing a job, but one should remember that it is not permanent and consider that he/she is on a long leave. Use the time to find better opportunities.
- It is important for us to accept whatever come ahead of us. This will allow us to find better ways to deal with the challenges.
- While it is important to not panic, it is also wise to not lose direction. If one loses their job, the first thing to do is manage their finances. Make a list of essential expenses and cut back on non-essential ones.
- Don’t let yourself be stuck in the position you are in, plan ahead. Use this time for other alternatives and opportunities such as identifying your passion or developing skills.
